Living in the Moment
by Tenshi Forgotten

He remembered the day that his sempai had gotten back onto the regulars, when they were in middle school. He could still remember that smile that had graced his lips, that happiness that had swam in his eyes. He didn't think he'd ever forget.

He would remember that night, when his sempai took him to those buildings and that small wall with just the right size for a tennis ball. Blood was staining his palms by the time he'd finally done it. But that didn't matter because his sempai had run over and hugged him, and Ohtori knew, he knew, that he would never forget that.

And now, he didn't even have anything he wanted to remember. He didn't want to remember the laughs, or the hugs. He didn't feel like re-living the smiles, or the playful punches and jabs. None of it was needed.

... He didn't want to remember because he was too busy living in the moment.

Funny, that that kiss was what was going to be keeping him up all night, even after Shishido-san had said good-night.
