Shishido woke up to the trilling of his cell phone.

Sleepily, he batted at it, trying to grab it and open it while still very much asleep.

"Hello?" he rasped, still three-quarters asleep.

"Ryou?" Ohtori asked, a note of amusement in his voice. "Did I wake you up?"

"Not awake," Shishido mumbled into the phone. "Sleeping."

Ohtori laughed lightly, "Do you want me to call again and leave a voice message so you'll remember this conversation?"

"Call later," Shishido yawned. "Sleep now."

Ohtori grinned, "I'll come by in two hours with coffee, how's that?"

"Coffee…" Shishido moaned, almost purring. "Coffee is good."

Ohtori couldn't help laughing again. "Go back to sleep, Ryou. I'll see you shortly."

Shishido was back asleep before the phone went dead.

Two hours later, the buzzer went off and woke Shishido again. Groaning a protest, he dragged himself out of his bed and to the com at the front door. "What?" he snapped into it, yawning.

"It's two hours later, Ryou," Ohtori said through it, chuckling.

Shishido frowned and buzzed him through. Two hours later? What the hell was Choutarou going on about? Yawning and rubbing his eyes sleepily, he leaned against the wall and waited for a knock on his door. When it came a few minutes later, he opened the door only to be greeted with a large cup of coffee from a local café.

Grabbing the coffee, Shishido took the top off and took a large sip, and moaned, "Sainthood. I nominate you for sainthood."

Ohtori chuckled and kissed Shishido's cheek. "You're sleeping later than normal."

"Hunh?" Shishido asked, looking up. "What time is it?"

"3:30 in the afternoon."

Shishido blinked and frowned. 3:30…what was going on at 3:30…? Eyes widening as he remembered, he put the coffee down and ran for his cell phone. "Fuck! Jesse's going to kill me!" he wailed, diving onto his bed stomach first and dialing the phone frantically.

"Jesse?" Ohtori asked, following Shishido into his bedroom.

"Agent, who's in London now… It'll be about 6:30 in the morning…" Shishido muttered to himself, putting the phone to his ear and counting the rings. Ohtori chuckled quietly and sat down next to Shishido, tracing designs on the small of his back, watching him squirm a little.

Ohtori grinned unabashedly as Shishido glared lightly at him over his shoulder, before turning his attention back to the phone. Since he could still hear the rings, Ohtori lightly smacked Shishido's ass, causing him to yelp and scoot away a little bit, giving him a mock-offended look.

Leaning back against the many pillows, Ohtori watched Shishido happily. They had been dating for about six months now. The last photo shoot for an account had been last night, leaving Shishido free to do what he wanted with his nights now. Ohtori himself didn't have another concert for a while as he pretty much picked and chose what he wanted after someone hearing him and deciding to sign him as an independent musician instead of someone who was just part of an orchestra.

For the moment, everything was going well.

Ohtori waited until Shishido had gotten off the phone to kiss him hello and smiled as Shishido melted against him. How had he gone five years without this gorgeous creature in his life? It was inconceivable to him, but he knew that if he made the same mistakes he had before, he would lose Shishido just as fast, with no second chance.

"Mm…good morning," Shishido laughed, kissing Ohtori again. "Thank you for waking me up."

"You're very welcome. Was the call fruitful?"

"I have a vacation," Shishido grinned. "I think I gave poor Jesse a heart-attack since I never ask for vacations."

"Does this vacation have anything to do with me?" Ohtori fished, looking nonchalant.

Shishido grabbed a pillow and hit Ohtori over the head with it before getting up and making a beeline back to his coffee. Taking that as answer that the vacation did indeed have to do with him, Ohtori grinned into the pillow before joining Shishido out in the living room.

"So, do you have any plans for tonight?"

Shishido shook his head and drank deeply of his preferred drug.

"Well, you do now," Ohtori smirked, holding up two tickets.

Shishido frowned and plucked them out of Ohtori's hand and yelped. "Holy… How'd you get these?"

"A friend I went to University with is with the troupe. He always sends me a pair of tickets for their shows, whether I can make them or not. Usually I end up giving them away, but I remembered you like…what was the phrase you used…" Ohtori scrunched up his nose in thought and then grinned. "Right. ‘Dead guys with quills,' was it?"

Shishido stared at Ohtori. "You…remembered…" he whispered, shocked.

"Every time a Shakespeare play is on stage, I remember those words. They were quite amusing, honestly," Ohtori grinned. "I think I remember you cackling over Midsummer Night's Dream when we had to read it for class."

"You little sneak!" Shishido yelped, putting his coffee down and throwing himself at Ohtori, fingers searching for ticklish spots. "You've been planning this!"

Ohtori laughed and grabbed Shishido's hands and twisted so Shishido rested within a circle of Ohtori's arms, his back against Ohtori's chest. "Of course I remembered. Why shouldn't I?"

Shishido handed the tickets back to Ohtori. "So, how long do I have?"

"The show's at 8, but I had planned to take you out to dinner at 6."

"Dinner where?" Shishido asked, grabbing his coffee again and wandering into his room to eye his closet.

"Mediterranean," Ohtori replied promptly, following Shishido closely into his closet. He noticed that the majority of the close were dress down, but could be combined with anything else in the closet to be made sophisticated and suitable for a five-star restaurant.

"Not fancy?"

"No, and neither is the theatre."

Shishido grinned and turned to suddenly to plant a big kiss on Ohtori's mouth. "Love ya," he cackled, turning and pulling Ohtori out of his closet. "Now then, scram for the moment and come pick me up at 6."

Ohtori laughed and tugged at a lock of Shishido's tangled bed-head hair. "Yes, master."

Shishido hit him lightly on his arm, "Don't mock me!"

"I wasn't!" Ohtori protested, laughing.

"Liar," Shishido sulked. He looked around and spotted a pen and a pad of paper on the desk. Going over, he scribbled down some numbers and fished in one of the drawers for a key before producing key and slip of paper to Ohtori. "The code is for the elevator so you don't have to buzz, and the key is to the front door."

Ohtori blinked in shock and opened his mouth to say something, but was pushed towards the door by a very insistent Shishido.

"No talking. Get. I need to take a shower and dress and eat something before I faint away. And I do have to call someone else before I meet up with you for a night of magic and trickery."

Ohtori laughed and swooped down for a kiss before leaving as told.

Tonight was going to be a wonderful night, he could feel it in his bones.
